B5 Ophthalmics course codes

By UCAS's old subject scheme, a course code starting B5 means ophthalmics, in the subjects allied to medicine area (B). 27 courses at 18 UK universities use one for 2027 entry: entry from 48 to 136 UCAS points; 7 courses quote A-level grades instead, most often BBB. Another 16 joint honours courses carry B5 as their second subject.
