By UCAS's old subject scheme, a course code starting B8 means medical technology, in the subjects allied to medicine area (B). 82 courses at 45 UK universities use one for 2027 entry: most ask for between 96 and 120 UCAS points; 16 courses quote A-level grades instead, most often BBB.
